Finally, the division of Ulysses for this Bloomsday experiment is complete! The Script section of this blog contains the numbered list of the 96 segments of the book. The Schedule section divides Bloomsday (16-17 June) into 96 quarter-hours commencing at 8 o’clock on Dublin’s morning — one for each segment of the book. Please take a look and let me know if there are any errors or oversights.
This exercise in arithmetic makes it clear that one thing needed for this 24-hour endeavor to succeed is a nearly worldwide cast of tweaders. Dawn in Dublin is the middle of the night in most of the United States. I hope that all our volunteer tweaders have imaginations rested & ready to tweet creatively when their time comes to step onto this Bloomsday stage. Rising too early or staying up too late could get in the way. Then again … being wigged out might make for particularly interesting recastings.
